TEAM MEMBERS
The Lorax Team is made up of Ameka, Imogen, Elisabeth, Chloe C, Chloe G, Jessica, Jamie, Amelia, Kate, Niccie, Eloise, Ellisa, Bethany, Lachlan and Nathan. We are a group of year 6's who care about the environment and want to put a STOP to plastic.
ABOUT US
Mountains of plastic, piled high into the sky, almost blocking out the sun. Innumerable, indestructible, terrifying. This is what we have created. We were the ones who damaged this world, so we are the ones who need to save it.
We are the Lorax Team, made up of year 6's from Epping North Public School. We are a group who care about the environment and want to BAN plastics that humans are polluting the world with. Just think what they are doing to the animals, they are mistaking it for food and getting it stuck around their heads and then suffocating. And about 100,000 marine life die a year because of this. This is why we're trying to BAN these horrible plastics, but we need YOUR help.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
To make this work we need the community's help. You can help by banning any one use products that are ruining our environment e.g coffee cups, plastic straws, plastic bags, plastic bottles and soda cans. Instead you can use reusable coffee cups, reusable bags, you can also use metal or no straws at all.
